The Web Interface feature allows remote access and admininstration of the basic functions of DSG Backup. The Web Interface supports the most common browsers. To connect to the Web Interface enter IP address and the corresponding server port as the Address in a browser. To test the Web Interface on the local machine enter the http://127.0.0.1:[PORT] as address.

To enter the Web Interface type you have to log in first. Type admin as username and the password set in the options dialog.

The Web Interface has 4 pages:

Home Page :

• Backup Sets: Contains all defined backup groups and backups sets. Click a backup set to open.
• Backup Set: Summary of the selected backup set.
• Backup Items: Contains the list of backup items of the selected backup set.
• Archives: Contains the list of archives of the selected backup set. Click an Archive to show it's properties.

The Status line shows the status of the backup set. If status is ready you can start the backup, by clicking the RUN link. You cannot start a backup when the backup is already running or the backup set is in use by another user.

Logs Page: Shows the application log.

Status Page: Shows the status of the running jobs and the scheduled tasks.

About page: Show information about program version.
